Update on our little family

Ok so it has been a LONG time since I have posted anything on our blog. So I decided to update on what we have been up to. I posted one of Whitney's new pictures that my sister Brandy took of her sooo cute!! April 14 Whitney turned 3! I can't believe my little girl is growing up. Her little personality is really showing now. She is definetly a handful! She is independent & very curious....a lethal combinaton ha ha. From all the stories I hear about Adam at this age this is where she gets it from. In June we had some much needed remodeling to the house done. We painted, put in new carpet in most of the house & it turned out beautiful! Well needless to say the FIRST night we had our carpet put in Whitney decided to flood the halls & our bedroom with bath water. No big deal we got some fans put up & it got dried up in no time.....then came the second night we had new carpet. She took some lipgloss/lipstick that was a dark pink in color & smeared it all into the carpet. I was in tears & scrubbing it out @ midnight but it too got fixed. So we are always on our toes with her. She is the sweetest little girl too. She loves her mommy & daddy so much. We just love her so much! She is just going through her 3 year old phaze & I'm sure soon she will do better soon. And who knows maybe by the end of the summer we could actually have her use the big girl potty??? Here's hoping....

McKenly is going to be 9 (yes already 9!) on August 2. She is turning out to be such a sweet girl. She struggled in school for a while but has really pulled through last year. We are so proud of her. She has come a long way. She is very artistic & loves to dance, play with her friends & family, ride her bike, and just be a kid :) I'm thinking of putting her in gymnastics because she loves to do handstands & she is freakishly strong ha ha....the girl has abs of steel! She loves her family very much & is such a big help to her little sister. She will be going into 4th grade in August.

Christy will be going into 9th grade at West Point Jr High this year & she is going to be a cheerleader!! So proud of her for fighting so hard to make the team & she did :) She is doing very well in school and gets good grades. This year she will also be on the girls choir the Madrigolds. Only a select few will be with her she had to to try out for the part & she made it! She is very talented & has such a cute personality. We are very proud of her.

Adam is still working at Young GMC in Layton & I am still at the base working in the Tickets & Travel office. We are doing really well & just love watching our little family growing up. We got to go to Midway this month with Adam's family & we had a blast :) This next weekend we are going to go camping with my family to Bear Lake. I'm so happy that we can still all get together & go do fun things with all of our families. Well that's all for now........hopefully next time won't be years until I post again ha ha

California Trip August 2009

We went to Disneyland, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, the beach, and an Angels baseball game.

We had so much fun, drama, and excitement. We can't wait to go back :)

We went to the Weber County Fair Grounds in Ogden. They had flags placed along the grass all representing fallen soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan. They also had the traveling vietnam wall. It was really neat to go and experience this with our children. We are very appreciative of all the soldiers who fight every day for our freedom.

Here is Christy. She is our 12 year old. She is going into 7th grade this year... aahh!! ha ha. (Yes her dad is scared that she is going to be boy crazy) She is an active teenager and she loves her family and friends. She loves marine life, and one day hopes to save all the whales. She is very sweet & caring and is a wonderful big sister. She is always helping us out with her little sisters. And yes we love to try to embarass her as much as we can on a daily basis it's what parents do :)

Here is McKenly. She is just about to turn 7 on Aug.2nd. She is hilarious! She is always making us laugh by telling us funny stories or dancing. She LOVES to climb & jump. She is our little spitfire & is so loving. She loves to make Whitney laugh & loves to hang out with her big sister. I can't believe she is going to be 7! My baby is growing up:(

She is so adorable. She is 15 months old now.

She has 6 teeth and is saying some words now. She makes the funniest faces & says the funniest things. She loves her big sisters. She has her own little personality. Her little smile just melts your heart.
